BiB Fellow Programme
With this initiative, which was launched in 2022, the institute honours excellent researchers from Germany and abroad whose work makes a significant contribution to population research.
So far, 31 researchers have been awarded in this way.
BIB's broad range of topics is reflected in the Fellows' diverse academic backgrounds, such as population sciences, geography, gerontology, or economics and social sciences. The programme strengthens scientific collaborations between BIB researchers and BIB Fellows, for example in the context of joint projects, publications and events.
Fellows are appointed for three years. They have an option for extension.
